PM Modi targets Opposition over Sam Pitroda’s remarks, says India won’t forgive such antics

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday morning slammed the Congress party and its president Rahul Gandhi after his close aide Sam Pitroda questioned the Balakot operation carried out the Indian Air Force. In a series of tweets, PM Modi called Pitrodas remarks shameful and accused the Congress of insulting the armed forces. The Congress leaders statement comes at a time when campaigning for the high-voltage Lok Sabha elections is at its peak. All the political parties and top leaders are holding rallies in different sates to garner support for their candidates. Pitrodas remark have given ammunition to the BJP against the Congress. Several senior Congress leaders including Digvijaya Singh and Kapil Sibal have already questioned the IAFs operation.
